Hair Transplant

Hair transplant

Hair transplant is a surgical procedure that involves transferring hair follicles from one part of the body (donor site) to the bald or thinning areas (recipient site). It’s an effective solution for restoring natural hair growth and addressing hair loss caused by various factors such as genetics, hormonal changes, or trauma.

Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT)

  • Involves removing a strip of scalp from the donor area and dissecting it into individual follicular units.
  • Ideal for large areas of baldness or thinning hair.
  • Leaves a linear scar that can be concealed by surrounding hair.

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

  • Extracts individual follicular units directly from the donor area using a punch-like instrument.
  • Minimally invasive with no linear scar, faster recovery compared to FUT.
  • Suitable for smaller areas or patients who prefer shorter haircuts.
